Jan van der Greef, from the Netherlands, is internationally recognised as an innovative scientist and a passionate nature photographer. His signature style in fine art photography, a blend of figurative, immpresionistic and abstract approaches, is highly acclaimed, winning him many prestigious photography awards, including Wildlife Photographer of the Year, GDT European Wildlife photographer of the year and Nature's Best.
Jan's first book, “Reflections of the Inner Self. Dreams and Visons of Nature” was qualified as “magnificent” by Sir David Attenborough.
The beauty of nature has attracted Jan to remote places all over the world, from the rainforests of the Amazon and Papua New Guinea, to the plains of Africa and the Arctic landcape of the North Pole. He is co-founder and board member of the foundation ALLIANCE FOR NATURE, whose mission is to reate a shift in awareness about the inter relationship between mankind and nature.
Jan is a highly acclaimed public speaker, and his wonderfully emotive talks have entertained and inspired thousands of people all around the world.
